Clinical Supervision

For associate-level clinicians seeking supportive, reliable, and growth-oriented supervision for full licensure.

I believe…

You deserve to find joy in the work you do and feel confident doing it. Quality supervision can get you there.

I’m Katie Gilbertson.

My approach

I work collaboratively with you to meet your clinical and business goals. While I’m here to ensure you’re meeting ethical and legal requirements in WA State, my main purpose is to guide you toward a career you’re excited about. If you’re struggling with burnout, imposter syndrome, etc then that’s where I hope to help you grow. Supervision is a space for you to explore new practices, lean into your therapist identity, and embrace challenges. That means our relationship is significant to your progress and growth, so making sure we are a good fit it key. I can teach new clinical tools and skills, but ultimately I want to help build your confidence, feel secure, and give you permission to create a career you can be proud of and that works for your quality of life.

My supervision model focuses on:

  • Maintaining ethics and legal requirements

  • Showing up authentically and using your voice

  • Incorporating social justice practices in your clinical work

  • Providing competent care for clients
